Requirements for Driving Lessons:
Before embarking on your journey toward becoming a skilled driver, please take note of the following requirements for driving lessons:
Age Requirement: To participate in our driving lessons, you must be aged 17 and above. However, if you have a disability, the minimum age requirement is 16 years.
Valid UK License: It is mandatory to hold a valid driving license for the UK to take driving lessons with JDS. Your license can be in the form of a provisional license, a full license, or an appropriate foreign license.
Provisional License: As a learner, you must possess a valid Provisional license. It is your responsibility to present this license to your instructor before commencing the driving lessons. Failure to provide a valid license may result in the cancellation of your booking, and you may incur charges accordingly.
Check Code Requirement: In addition to your license, you will be required to provide a check code to your instructor. The check code allows your instructor to verify your license for any accumulated points or penalties. This check is a legal requirement and must be fulfilled before beginning the driving lessons. Payment to Partners:
At Jamz Driving School (JDS), we strive to ensure a smooth payment process for our driving lessons. Please carefully review the following terms regarding payment confirmation and dispute resolution:
Payment Holding: We will withhold payment for your driving lessons until we receive confirmation from your instructor. Once the instructor confirms the completion of the lesson, we will proceed with the payment process.
Email Notification: Upon receiving confirmation from your instructor, we will send you an email to notify you that the lesson has been successfully conducted. This email will also contain details of the payment amount and other relevant information.
Dispute Window: You will have a period of 48 hours from the time of email delivery to raise any disputes related to the lesson or the payment. If you encounter any issues or discrepancies, it is essential to bring them to our attention within this timeframe.
Payment Resolution: If no dispute is raised within the 48-hour window, we will proceed to release the payment to your instructor. The matter will be considered closed once the payment is made.

Direct Payment to Instructors
Jamz Driving School (JDS) wants to clarify that it will not be held responsible for any payments made to partner driving instructors. Any financial agreements or transactions made between the learner and the partner instructor will be entirely their own responsibility, and JDS will not be involved in or liable for such matters.
Refund Policy
In the event that you decide to cancel your booking after making a payment, a full refund will be issued to you, subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:
Time Limit: You are eligible for a refund if the request is made within six months from the date of the original payment.
Refund Method: We will facilitate the refund process by issuing the reimbursement back to the same credit or debit card that was used for the initial payment.
Instructor Payments: Kindly note that refunds cannot be provided for payments made directly to an instructor. All refunds must be requested through Jamz Driving School (JDS) as per our established procedures.
Lesson Completion: If you have completed any driving lessons or courses in full, you will not be eligible for a refund for those specific lessons.
Valid Refund Request: To request a refund, you must provide appropriate proof of payment and submit your refund request within the specified time frame.
Processing Time: Once a refund request is approved, please allow for a reasonable processing time for the funds to be credited back to your account.
Refund Discretion: JDS reserves the right to review each refund request on a case-by-case basis and make a final decision based on the circumstances surrounding the request.

Lesson Arrangements
Jamz Driving School (JDS) acts as the intermediary to connect you, the learner, with a suitable instructor. However, please be aware of the following conditions regarding the scheduling and arrangement of lessons:
Lesson Coordination: JDS will assist in connecting you with a suitable driving instructor based on your preferences and availability. However, it will be the responsibility of the learner and the instructor to mutually agree upon the timing, duration, and location of the driving lessons.
Lesson Details: The specific details of each driving lesson, such as the date, time, duration, and meeting location, will be arranged directly between you and the instructor. JDS will not be involved in determining or modifying these details.
Lesson Bookings: All bookings and appointments for driving lessons must be made directly with the instructor. JDS will not be responsible for scheduling or managing lesson bookings.
Instructor Selection: While JDS aims to connect learners with reputable and skilled driving instructors, the ultimate decision to select a specific instructor rests with the learner.
Instructor's Responsibilities: The instructor will be solely responsible for delivering the driving lessons, providing instruction, and ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
Lesson Fees: Any fees or charges for the driving lessons will be communicated and agreed upon directly between you and the instructor. JDS will not be involved in financial transactions related to the lessons.
Cancellation Policy: In case of any lesson cancellations or rescheduling, learners must adhere to the instructor's cancellation policy, which will be communicated by the instructor directly.
Please note that while JDS strives to facilitate a seamless connection between learners and instructors, we do not assume responsibility for the specific arrangements or interactions between the learner and the instructor. Location Change Policy:
At Jamz Driving School (JDS), we understand that learners may sometimes require a change in the lesson location to accommodate their needs. However, please be aware of the following policy regarding location changes:
Price Adjustment: If you decide to request a location change for your driving lessons, the prices may be subject to adjustment based on the prices applicable to the new location. Please note that prices may vary from postcode to postcode, and as a result, the lesson fees may be updated accordingly.
Fee Transparency: JDS will provide clear and transparent information about any price adjustments before finalizing the location change. You will be informed of the revised lesson fees and given the opportunity to confirm your consent before proceeding with the change.
Agreement Confirmation: The location change and any associated price adjustments will only be implemented upon receiving your explicit agreement and approval.
Instructor Availability: Location changes are also subject to the availability of instructors in the requested area. While we will make every effort to accommodate your preferences, we cannot guarantee the availability of an instructor in a specific location.
Prior Notice: To request a location change, please provide sufficient notice to JDS to allow for proper arrangements and adjustments to be made. We recommend making such requests well in advance to ensure a smooth transition.
Cancellation and Refund: If a location change is requested after booking a lesson but cannot be accommodated due to instructor availability or other reasons, you may choose to cancel the lesson. In such cases, our standard cancellation and refund policy will apply.
Please understand that location changes may impact the scheduling and pricing of your driving lessons, but we are committed to working with you to find the most suitable solution. No Valid Cancellation Reasons: There are no valid reasons for cancellations within the 48-hour notice period. Regardless of the circumstances, learners are expected to adhere to the cancellation policy.
Lesson Rescheduling: If you have unavoidable circumstances that prevent lesson attendance within the notice period, we encourage you to contact your instructor immediately to discuss possible rescheduling options. However, please note that rescheduling will be at the instructor's discretion and will not negate the late cancellation charge.
Instructor's Discretion: In exceptional cases, at the instructor's sole discretion, they may choose to waive the late cancellation charge. However, this decision will be based on specific circumstances and is not guaranteed.
Fair Policy Implementation: We enforce our cancellation policy consistently and fairly for all learners to ensure a smooth and organized learning experience.

Intensive Course Cancellation Policy:

Matching with an Instructor: Our priority is to connect you with a competent and available driving instructor who meets your preferences and needs. In the event that we are unable to find a suitable match, you may request a course cancellation.
Instructor Allocation Efforts: JDS will make every effort to allocate an appropriate instructor for your intensive course. If, despite our endeavors, a suitable match cannot be found, you will be eligible for a refund.
Refund Processing: Once a course cancellation is confirmed due to instructor unavailability, we will initiate the refund process promptly. Please allow a reasonable processing time for the funds to be credited back to your account.
Late Cancellation Policy: If you decide to cancel the intensive course after the initial 14-day period for reasons other than instructor unavailability, our standard cancellation policy will apply, and the refund will be subject to the terms outlined in our general cancellation policy.
Communication and Support: If you have any concerns or wish to cancel your intensive course, please contact our support team as soon as possible. We are here to assist you and ensure a smooth resolution.

Refunds for Package Deals: If you decide to cancel a package deal before starting any driving lessons, you may be eligible for a full refund of the package price, subject to administrative charges or transaction fees.
Partial Refunds: In the event that you cancel a package deal after commencing some lessons, the refund will be calculated based on the remaining unused hours at the standard individual lesson rate. Administrative charges or transaction fees may apply.
Walking Out on Package Deal: If you choose to discontinue a package deal after starting lessons and decide to walk out on the package, the completed hours will be charged at the full individual lesson rate. The remaining unused hours will not be eligible for any refund.
Package Transfer: In certain cases, you may have the option to transfer the remaining hours of a package deal to another learner, subject to instructor availability and approval. Additional administrative charges may apply for such transfers.
Promotion Duration: The duration and availability of promotions and package deals are subject to change and may be limited. It is essential to take advantage of these offers within the specified timeframe to avail of the benefits.
Instructor Allocation: Our package deals may include a specific instructor allocation. If you have any preferences or need to change your instructor, please communicate with us, and we will accommodate your request, subject to availability.
Fair Application: This policy aims to ensure fair treatment for both learners and instructors while maximizing the benefits of promotions and package deals for our valued customers.

Test Bookings Policy:
At Jamz Driving School (JDS), we understand that circumstances may arise that require changes or cancellations to your test bookings. Please carefully review the following policy regarding test bookings:
Cancellation Notice: If you wish to cancel your test booking with JDS, you must provide us with at least 4 days' notice. However, if you prefer to cancel your test directly with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), you must allow DVSA a 3-day notice period.
Test Date Changes: If you would like JDS to change your test date on your behalf, an administration fee of £90 pounds will apply. This fee covers the administrative efforts involved in rescheduling your test.
Late Cancellations and Changes: Should you notify us later than the allotted 3-day notice period allowed by DVSA for cancellations and changes, you will be required to pay for a new test booking. The fees for a new booking will be £62 for the practical test and £23 for the theory test, in addition to any applicable administration charges.
DVSA Direct Contact: If you opt to cancel or make changes to your test booking directly with DVSA, please ensure that you follow their specific guidelines and procedures.
Refund and Payment: Test booking fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in this policy. If you need to pay for a new test booking due to late notice or changes, payment must be made promptly to secure the new test slot.
Test Availability: Test date changes are subject to the availability of test slots provided by DVSA. While we will make every effort to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee specific test dates.
Communication and Support: For any test booking-related inquiries, changes, or cancellations, please contact our support team promptly. We are here to assist you and ensure a smooth process.

Cancellation and Administrative Charges
Cancellation Policy: 1.1. If a student wishes to cancel their driving course, they must provide written notice to the driving school via email or registered mail. 1.2. Cancellations made within 14 days of enrolling in the course will be entitled to a full refund of the course fees, excluding the administrative charge. 1.3. Cancellations made after 14 days of enrolling in the course will be subject to an administrative charge as specified below.
Administrative Charge: 2.1. A £150 administrative charge will be applied to all course cancellations made after 14 days of enrolling in the course. 2.2. This administrative charge is non-refundable and will be deducted from any eligible refund amount. 2.3. The administrative charge covers the cost of processing the cancellation request and managing course-related paperwork.
Refund Policy: 3.1. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 30 days from the date of receiving the cancellation notice. 3.2. The refund amount will be calculated as the total course fee paid minus the £150 administrative charge.
Exceptions: 4.1. The administrative charge will be waived if the driving school cancels the course for any reason. 4.2. In case of a medical emergency or other exceptional circumstances, the driving school reserves the right to consider waiving the administrative charge at its sole discretion. Supporting documentation may be required in such cases.
Rescheduling: 5.1. If a student wishes to reschedule their course dates, they must inform the driving school at least 7 days before the original course start date. 5.2. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges, which will be communicated to the student before confirming the new course dates.
No-Show Policy: 6.1. Failure to attend the course without prior notice will be considered a "no-show." 6.2. No-shows are not eligible for a refund and will forfeit the entire course fee.
Terms Modifications: 7.1. The driving school reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. 7.2. Any changes to the Terms and Conditions will be communicated to students via email or on the driving school's website.
